    2006 Season Programs

    • Work continues on the Tarryall as part of our TREES FOR TROUT River Restoration Project. A portion of the Middle Fork of the South Platte will also be worked on this season.  This project has placed over 300 standing dead trees from the burn areas to enhance fish habitat and improve water quality.

    • The FUELS REDUCTION and Defensible Space Initiative utilized 237 volunteers to treat over 350 acres within the watershed last year.  This season is already 80% booked for this valuable service.

    • The annual BeWare & Prepare Wildfire Fair was very successful!  CUSP’s Marti Campbell served as host for the event.
