Kayaker on the North Fork of the Upper South Platte river.

The lone Golden Eagle soars high above watching the many adventurers as they bask along this highly used section of The South Platte. Highway 285 carries swarms of diverse travelers as they race to escape the stresses of the city. The small hamlets that line the river hear the constant rush of water as it churns slowly forward. Flows within this section of stream are relatively constant as man made diversions regulate flow.
